Solo Work
Investigating the body's ability to retain and trigger memory, Sadie Yarrington’s Muscle Memory was developed in 2019 via Show Box LA/we live in space and Rosanna Gamson/World Wide Terra Nova Choreographic residencies. Early presentations include: MashUp Contemporary Dance Company’s 2019 “Balance for Better” showcase at the Bootleg Theater, REDCAT Studio Spring 2019 session, and the 2019 BlakTinx Dance Festival.
Ensemble Work
Since 2018 Sadie has created work with Bodies in Play, a rotating roster of Los Angeles based artists founded by Andrew Pearson. In October of 2022 Sadie co-creative directed and performed in the group’s Works in Progress Showing. Hoping to create a more equitable experience for all collaborators, the group experimented with new structures for the creative process.
